This orphanage started when a group of sisters decided that they had to do something for the unprotected children of Mexico. After a few years they were able to find the land to start the project, start with the preparations, bought the land, and found the architect. The project was sought to be financed through donations, which were obtained from Spain, and began to run amid difficulties. They sought children who had come out of a situation of poverty, abuse, and difficult life.  They wanted them to find a very beautiful and harmonious home. And it was on September of 2009 that, without having completed the construction of the Casa Hogar, a baby was abandoned and they were asked to receive it. It was then, November 30, 2009,  that they decided to start running the project. Since then, they have been receiving little ones and giving them a lot of love.
